Risa Koizumi and Atsushi Otani are two high school students who both have height complexes. Risa is a tall girl and Otani is a short guy. They have each confessed to someone before, but were rejected because of their height differences. In school, they are known as “All Hanshin Kyojin” because of their height differences and the fact that they are always bickering in a comedic way. They are both looking for love and they just might find it in someone they didn’t think they would: each other. Review:
I recently watched this movie, again. I first watched this when it was first release. During those times, I’m not particularly interested in having a blog about anime and manga… and of course, live actions. Since I just watched this, I can give you updated review about this Live Action.
STORY . One big girl. One small guy. One average but kinda pretty girl and one super cute guy. Do I really need to explain why I’m going to give it 8/10? Well, maybe I should. Risa and Otani are very alike except in their heights. Now, I don’t know about you, but it’s actually the first movie I’ve ever read that deals with height and used it as a conflict and for comedy. But the story being original also has its own “averageness.” What I mean is, a girl falling for a guy and confessing to him, only to be rejected, found another guy and the first guy she confessed to realized he loves her and tries to win her back, is very common. But as I said, they used the concept of height difference to distract us from its “averageness.”
Because of that, I will give it 6.5/10
EFFECTS AND THE MOVIE ITSELF . Not bad really. There wasn’t a time where I was unsatisfied. Maybe because i was pre occupied with Teppei or maybe it’s just because there really aren’t anything to criticize for effects. of course it’s not the best movie. But it’s definitely a good one. 8/10
Over all: 8/10 I haven’t seen the anime but I know that both actors are much better looking than the anime characters and that’s a big plus for me. The whole movie was fun and it made me really excited and I don’t know the term. In my country we call it,
